THE INCREASING ROLE OF DUAL AUXILIARY BATTERIESMany 4x4 users, in an endeavour to keep the fridge as cold as possible, for as long as possible, add a second auxiliary battery to their vehicle. Some also add a second battery to power additional 12V, or 220V appliances via an inverter. At best, for a fridge, this might buy you one extra day without additional recharging. If you are going to make a 3 or 4 day trip away from Mains power, then this will definitely help get you the extra day of cold beers!
